Inline Text & Images demo

TL;DR

  • Place images inline with text, baseline-aligned and sized to line height.

  • Works for icons, logos, screenshots, emoji-sized media.

  • Best for changelogs, editorial blogs, documentation, and product copy.

What Inline Text & Images Does

Framer's default rich text treats images as block elements. The result is a paragraph split in half by a floating image. Inline Text & Images lets you insert media inside the sentence, so the reading flow is uninterrupted: "We shipped support for [icon] Notion last week, alongside [icon] Linear."

The component handles sizing (matched to the surrounding text size), alignment (baseline or centred), and responsive behaviour (images scale with the typography across breakpoints).

Why Use It

Editorial polish is one of the cheapest ways to make a site feel premium. The Vercel docs, Stripe's blog, and Linear's changelog all rely on tiny inline visual cues — a product logo next to the product name, an icon next to a feature reference, a small flag next to a country.

Features

  • Inline image insertion inside any paragraph or list item.

  • Auto-sizing to the current line height.

  • Baseline or centre alignment per image.

  • Responsive — images scale with the text across breakpoints.

  • Supports static images, SVG icons, and animated formats.

  • Works inside CMS-bound rich text.

FAQ

Will it work inside a Framer CMS rich text field?
Yes — bind the component to your CMS rich text and use the inline image syntax exposed by the component.
Can I use SVG icons or only raster images?
Both. SVGs render crisp at any size; raster images use standard responsive sizing.
Is there a limit to how many inline images one paragraph can hold?
Practically, no — the limit is editorial taste. A paragraph with more than three inline images usually reads as cluttered.
